TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
The Transportation Department has a full-time job opening for a Driver Training and Safety Coordinator position. This position is responsible for training new drivers, including annual training to satisfy TDOT and TNCARE contracts. Must be proactive regarding safety procedures to ensure drivers are following the agency’s policies and procedures. Must be willing to submit a pre-employment drug test and background check. Must possess good human relation skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Must have good judgement and temperament to effectively and diplomatically deal with the public. Bachelor’s Degree required, Degree may be waived with three years of relevant experience. Position is on-site in Martin, TN. AAAD Department
There is a full-time opening for a Budget Analyst position within the AAAD department. The Budget Analyst will be responsible for development and maintenance of the accounting system, which will accurately account for all Federal, State, and Local Funds (including in-kind) received by AAAD and disbursed to its service providers. The Budget Analyst will act as fiscal advisor to the Director of AAAD and will provide technical assistance relating to fiscal matters to service providers funded by AAAD. The Budget Analyst will be responsible for the preparation and submission of all required financial reports. Applicants must have effective communication skills, oral and written, must be able to solve problems, and have good listening skills. Ability to establish good working relationships internally and externally with colleagues and consumers. Bachelor’s degree in field of accounting or related field required. Five years of experience in maintaining a standard form of records involving ledgers, journals, financial statements, back account reconciliation, etc. This position is on site located in Martin, TN.

Must be willing to drive in Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Henry, Gibson, Lake, Obion and Weakley Counties, including Jackson, Memphis, Nashville, and their surrounding areas. Must be willing to submit and pass a Physical, Drug Test, and Satisfactory Background Check. Drivers are required to handle wheelchair passengers multiple times daily.
