Senior Medicare Patrol Project (SMPP)

The Northwest AAAD administers a Senior Medicare Patrol to help eradicate fraud and abuse within the Medicare Program.  This grant provides for the recruitment and training of volunteers to assist Medicare recipients in understanding Medicare summary notices, checking for discrepancies and educating seniors on Medicare issues.  Volunteers are trained and placed in convenient locations to provide this free and confidential service.
