Historic Preservation Program

Working in partnership with the Tennessee Historical Commission, NWTDD strives to protect, preserve, and promote historic resources located in Northwest Tennessee.

Preservation services include National Register nomination, preparing applications for the Federal Preservation Grant, promotion of preservation tax incentives, assisting with Section 106 review, creating applications for the state historical marker program, and promoting the Certified Local Government (CLG) program.
